A Small Update

We are still in Wales at the moment and have being taking day trips out. We went to Swansea yesterday and to Penarth today to visit some of Megan's relitives which was a lot of fun. Everywhere we go in the UK we are getting spoiled by family. Food, accomadation, and some great nights at the pubs. Tomorrow we are heading to the Brecon Beacons and to a place called Hay-on-Wye which is supposed to be a great place for antiques and books. Other than that we have been relaxing and visiting with a lot of Megan's relivtives. We met one of her cousins (that she didn't know she had) the other day outside her great Aunts house and while we talking to him he pointed out another cousin as he drove passed us......oh life in a small Welsh town in the Valley.

A quick update...

Miles Driven - almost a 1000
Miles Walked - To damn much
Cash Spent - uh...no comment (mostly in petrol)
Weight lost - about 15lbs...
Weight gained since being in Wales - About 15lbs (you should see the way they feed us)
Number of arguements with Megan - 1 (about navagational skills)
Number of times it has rained - Only about 5 or 6

Well better run. Another dinner is calling......

Hey guys, I didn't know you were into antiques. Glad to hear you lost those 15lbs from your belly, Phil, but it's a shame you've gained it all back in Welsh food.

Regarding the iPod skins, we haven't had a problem with removing the sticker paper from the iPods and it doesn't leave any residue, but today is a hot day so we're going to leave an iPod wrapped in a skin out in the sun for a little while and see what the heat does to it (it's a dummy iPod of course, there's no gadgetry inside it) before we start selling them.

We're getting a new printer today with a special spray which fixes the ink to the paper and we've got a special laminating machine which applies another *extremely thin* protective coating on top so it feels smooth in the hand. They're far from being actually finished, but the cutout templates are done. Hopefully by the time you get here in a few weeks they will be ready for sale

I'm not so sure it's wise to post private phone numbers on the internet. Phil you might want to edit that out.

abuuhhh? why erase that number, I plan to spend a lot of money prank calling it... from here in Canada... like the millions of others reading this site who dont know Phil or Megan... hahahahaha
good to hear things are well kids, Warped Tour was good times here with Dave and Funnelli-o, sad thing of it was millencolin was done before we got in there, and we only caught matchbook by strung out.. ah well, transplants, dropkick murphy's,offspring, mxpx and senses fail helped alleviate the sadness. that the topless girl during the murphy's set... :D
talk to you soon!

That sucks about missing Millencolin and strung out boys. At least you got to see senses fail. They are always a good show. I will have to keep a look out over here and see if any of the bands will be in the london area. I know Millencolin plays quite a few shows in the UK. Anyone want to come and see them with me????

Ha Ha. Navigational argument ... had PLENTY of those. Our first trip, we reckon we wracked up hundreds of "lost" miles, and I'm certain they were all Brad's fault and not mine.

I guess we'll miss you guys - we're off to Prague on Tuesday, but will be back for the weekend. We are going down to Nana's Mon or Tues, but will be around for the weekend if you guys are. We can go down to Clacton-on-Sea or something if you like.

Shiat mang, can't believe you guys missed Millencolin. Sarah and Luke were there too, and say that they were caked with all the dust flying around mixed with sweat.

Yum.

Phil, let me know what you want on your PodWrap (the iPod skin I'm designing). We'll have like 100 different designs but i can make a custom one for you if you want.
