A New Car

Ok well it’s not exactly new but we have decided not to fix the Peugeot 306 yet and bought another car instead. We are now the proud owners of a 1992 BMW 318i. It’s a 1.8 manual and is a lot faster than the last cars. It runs really smooth and handles roundabouts a high speeds. It is also a lot bigger than the Peugeot and it feels like I am driving a bus in comparison. We have already taken it for a spin down to Wales last weekend to have a great Welsh Lunch prepared by Kay and Shelia (Megan's family). It was a quick visit but we are probably going to stop in again next Thursday as we are going down to Cardiff to do some Christmas shopping. If anybody wants something place your orders now.

The car was really cheap and has one year MOT and 3 months tax which is a big bonus and another one of the major selling points of the car. Even if it only lasts us 6 months we will get our moneys worth. Let’s hope it goes for longer though as there are still people in Canada who have not yet come to visit us and may be in need of a ride upon their arrival. Yes that’s a hint to all of you to come and visit.

I must admit being in a BMW is nice indeed. More road trips ahoy!

I am so jealous. That's that car that I would love to have. That's really sweet man, and I can see what you mean by huge in comparison. Looking forward to back seat driving in that thing!

I tried to buy you a nice "BMW" key chain the other day for Christmas - it was $40 .. FOR THE KEY CHAIN! BMW key chains are too expensive for me .. so kudos to you for find a BMW car you could afford!

What did you think of the new bond super?

Well I must admit I liked it. As it was Daniel Craig's first he did ok. Also I can let the fact that he wasn't quite as bondish slide as it in reality is supposed to be the first James Bond where he gets his 007 licence.

I am ashamed to say that I have not read the book Casino Royale but I hear that the movie follows the plot of the book pretty well. It doesn't have that "I want to take over the world" bad guy but I will have to read the book before I really comment on the plot.

So yes I enjoyed it. The poker scenes didn't hurt either :P

What about you Chin? Whats your stance on the movie?

I've heard good things about it! I actually haven't seen it yet. Holding out for a bit, it's still around 20 bucks here so I'll try and see it later this month perhaps. I heard it's more actions and less CG but still to be seen. Looking forward to seeing it though!
